Duo Directors David and Dale Brimelow were proud to attend the
11th Plastics Industry Awards at the Park Lane in London
on Friday.
Over 800 guests enjoyed the prestigious event with a fabulous
dinner, live music and games. Leading the celebrations was TV
presenter and comedian Dara O Briain who truly set a great
atmosphere for the evening.
David Brimelow spoke on the event "This was our first year in
attendance at the awards and what a magnificent evening. The last
few years have been tough for the plastics industry, however the
enthusiasm and ambition displayed by the leading companies in our
industry forecasts a positive outcome. Unfortunately we didn't
bring home the winners trophy but we are extremely proud that our
initiatives were recognised alongside the best in our sector."
Speaking on future developments for Duo, Dale Brimelow said "Duo
has an ambitious growth strategy in place to solidify our position
as the UK's packaging expert. We are continuing with our training
and development programme and developing in house systems that will
streamline our processes increasing efficiency and lead times for
our customers. This is a very exciting time for Duo and we are
already looking forward to next years award ceremony where we will
hopefully bring home the bacon!"
